I've been building for the web since 2008 - in-house, freelance, and now agency work. WordPress is my core, React and Next.js are where I'm spending more time.
My work sits across development and design - which means I think about how something looks, how it works, and how it's built, all at once.
Most of my time goes into WordPress: custom themes, block development, plugin work, performance, and keeping things maintainable. Outside of that, I build with React and Next.js, and I'm currently working on a few personal projects - games, apps, and tools built for fun and for Trinidad.

Web Developer / Designer
Web Developer and Designer at a U.S.-based web agency, building, maintaining, and troubleshooting WordPress websites across a wide range of client projects. My work covers custom themes and functionality, Gutenberg blocks, ACF, WooCommerce, Gravity Forms, Kadence and Elementor builds, third-party integrations, React-based features, performance optimization, and ongoing maintenance. I also work across the broader technical side of client sites, including PHP and WordPress upgrades, plugin and theme conflicts, hosting and deployment issues, email and SMTP configuration, API integrations, responsive fixes, accessibility, and production troubleshooting. Alongside development, I contribute UI/UX design and take projects from requirements and design through development, launch, and support.

Contract UI/UX Designer supporting a local digital agency across web and mobile client projects. Created interface designs, reusable visual systems, and developer-ready layouts in Figma and Adobe XD, working closely with developers to make sure the finished product matched the intended design.

Webmaster supporting CCN TV6 and Trinidad Express Newspaper in a fast-moving digital news environment. Managed day-to-day website publishing, digital content, ePaper production, and social media, while also providing video editing support for the 'Beyond the Tape' segment.
